Consulting

I supply a variety of design and consulting services to the interactive entertainment and other new media industries as a member of the International Hobo game design consortium. My work includes original design, game analysis, creative writing, and serving as an  advisor to startup companies and venture capital firms. I also do patent litigation work.

Game Design Training

I run hands-on workshops on various aspects of game design, including mechanics, character creation, interactive storytelling, and other subjects. Both students and junior-level professionals have found it worthwhile. If you have a group of 8 or more, this is a fun and informative way to spend a day. Public Speaking

I often give lectures at conferences, on college campuses, and at art and animation festivals such as Ars Electronica.
