In addition to my game design work I also serve as an expert witness from time to time in patent litigation cases. My long experience in the video game industry, together with my contacts and other resources, give me an extensive knowledge of prior art in the field of interactive entertainment. Having been a software engineer myself, I am qualified to make informed judgments about the degree to which a particular work does, or does not, prefigure a patent within the area of my expertise.
